Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of services and products by Risk Consultancy International – FZCO ("RCI", "we", "us", "our").

By engaging our services or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms.

2. About Us

Risk Consultancy International - FZCO is a consulting business registered in the United Arab Emirates and currently operating from the United Kingdom.

We provide:

• Consulting services in the areas of Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, and Emergency and Crisis Management
• Leadership Development and Culture Change Training
• Proprietary products, including Risk Cards and Leadership Cards

3. Services

We agree to provide consulting and training services as outlined in written proposals, agreements, or statements of work.

• Scope, timelines, and deliverables will be agreed in advance
• Any changes may require a revised agreement and additional fees

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate and timely information
• Cooperate with reasonable requests
• Ensure participants are suitable and available for meetings and training sessions

We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information or the failure of invitees to attend meetings and / or training sessions.

5. Fees and Payment

• Fees will be set out in proposals or invoices
• Payment terms: 14 days from invoice date
• Late payments may incur interest or suspension of services
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Consulting services: 14 days
• Training sessions: rescheduling allowed with notice

We reserve the right to charge for late cancellations or missed sessions.

7. Products (Risk and Leadership Cards)

• Orders are subject to availability
• Prices are listed on our website or agreed in writing
• Delivery times are estimates

Returns:

• Full refunds will be issued for unused items if returned within 14 days of receipt
• Damaged or defective items will be replaced or refunded if returned within 14 days of receipt

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in our materials, including Risk Cards and Leadership Cards, frameworks, methodologies, and training content, remain our exclusive property.

Purchase of Risk and / or Leadership Cards grants a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for internal / personal use only.

Clients may not:

• Reproduce, adapt, or modify the materials
• Use the materials to deliver training to third parties
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Resell or distribute the materials without prior written consent

Risk and Leadership Cards Disclaimer

Risk Cards developed by RCI are designed for professional development and awareness purposes. The Leadership Cards developed by RCI are designed to inspire, provoke discussion and facilitate workshops and team events.

Neither set of cards are intended to provide legal, psychological, or diagnostic advice.

Users are responsible for how the cards are applied within their organisation. We accept no liability for decisions made based on their use.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential information private and not disclose it to third parties without consent, unless required by law.

10. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including UK GDPR.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
• Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant services or products

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

12. Professional Disclaimer

Our services provide guidance and expertise in risk management, business continuity management, emergency and crisis management and leadership and culture awareness and training.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes or business results.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice, subject to agreed terms.

We may terminate immediately if:

• Payment is not received
• Terms are breached
• Behaviour or attitude of the Client towards an RCI employee is deemed inappropriate

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website.
